Basement Bike Storage Policy
Hendrick House provides secure indoor bicycle storage located on the basement level for active residents. Because rack capacity is limited, strict enforcement of storage rules ensures safety, accessibility, and fair access for all neighbors.
All bicycles stored on premises must be actively registered with an assigned tag. Equipment not registered by the deadline will be inventoried and slated for removal in accordance with house rules.
Mandatory Registration
Every bicycle stored in the bike room must be registered with an assigned apartment number, make/model, color, and clear photograph.
ClickPay Fee Billing
Bike storage is subject to an annual storage fee. Billing is handled automatically through your existing ClickPay account via building management.
Physical Decal & Tags
Once your registration is reviewed, the superintendent will inspect the bike and provide a numbered decal tag that must be affixed to the frame.
Audit & 14-Day Notice
Unregistered, abandoned, or untagged bicycles will be tagged for removal with a 14-day notice, after which they will be donated or discarded.
Lithium-ion battery packs must be UL-certified (UL 2849 or UL 2271). Charging unattended or overnight in common basement areas is strictly prohibited by co-op safety policy and city fire regulations.
Register a Bicycle
Please complete one submission per bicycle. Make sure to upload a clear side-profile photo showing your bicycle’s color and frame. Entries and photos are securely stored in the building equipment roster.
